Turnkey Hospitality Partners is owned and managed by Jeremy Clayton, a born and bred Capetonian, who is incredibly passionate about the African hospitality industry. 

 

After completing his studies Jeremy relocated to London where he commenced his hospitality career. His passion for people and the industry put him in good stead and soon he was supervising a variety of London’s better known restaurants and cocktail bars. Jeremy returned to South Africa after four years in Europe and commenced his studies at Cape Town Hotel School. 

 

Jeremy’s studies reinforced his belief that the industry could make a substantial difference to people’s lives. Of equal importance to him was ensuring the unique experience of "Africa" was offered to visitors in the most sincere way possible and simultaneously ensuring the industry rewarded and developed local staff and business. With this philosophy, Jeremy commenced his management career at the world renowned North Island, Seychelles.  

 

Jeremy has spent the last twelve years working for four of the most prestigious boutique hospitality properties and groups in Africa including North Island (Wilderness Safaris), Singita, Madikwe Safari Lodge (MORE) and White Pearl Resorts. Working within these brands, Jeremy has gained a wealth of knowledge and sharpened analytical skill. Over the past five years Jeremy has refocused his energy working on change management and turn around properties. He greatly enjoys the trouble shooting and fixing element of the job and has seen success through his open minded management styles and through having an intuitive and sound knowledge of hotels systems and practices.  

 

Jeremy enjoys simplifying systems to ensure ease of understanding for all parties. Through ensuring management have a healthy understanding of hotel procedures and requirements an owner can be certain that the operational elements of their hotel will be successful and ultimately this translates into a prosperous hospitality business.
